  • placeDay 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu.

    Upon arrival in Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport, meet Nepal Social Treks and Tours representative, assist and transfer to the hotel. At the hotel’s lobby welcome refreshments will be served and room check in assistance provided. Shortly afterwards there will be a tour briefing at the hotel’s lobby.

    Eve: Welcome dinner at Nepali restaurant featuring cultural program.

  • placeDay 02 : Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City.

    Am: After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City.
    It includes visit to the Hanuman Dhoka (Kathmandu Durbar Square) - an ancient durbar (palace) with its numerous old palaces, temples and pagodas, the Temple of Living Goddess “Kumari”, and the Kasthamandap Temple, which is believed to be constructed from the wood of a single tree from which Kathmandu derives its name.
    In addition also visit the Boudhanath Stupa - an ancient colossal stupa and the center of Tibetan Buddhism in the world and the Pashupatinath Temple- the Temple of Lord Shiva situated on the bank of the holy Bagmati River.

    Pm: After lunch drive up to the Swayambhunath Stupa situated atop a hill from where you could get a bird’s eye view of Kathmandu Valley. The Swayambhunath Stupa is also known as the “Monkey Temple”!!

  • placeDay 03 : Drive to Pokhara. En route commence rafting from Khataudi to Kurintar in the Trishuli River.

    Am: After breakfast, start 6 hours (200kms.) scenic drive to Pokhara Valley, via Prithwi Highway. En route stop at Khataudi (raft starting point), where there will be a short briefing followed by some demonstrations related with rafting.
    Shortly afterwards, commence exciting white water rafting in the Trishuli River for about 4 hours till we reach Kurintar (raft ending point). Initially, we begin with small rapids and soon catch up with bigger ones.

    Pm: After rafting, continue drive to Pokhara Valley. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in hotel for refreshment. Rest of the day is free for much deserved rest.

    Pokhara, which is situated 200 kms west from Kathmandu, is an enchanting city nestled in the tranquil valley (827m) on the laps of the mighty Annapurna Himalayan Range. With its beautiful lakes, lush green surroundings and fantastic views of the Annapurna range including the Fish Tail Mountain, it is considered one of nature’s finest gifts to Nepal.

  • placeDay 04 : Drive to Vijaypur Khola and start the trek to Thulokot. (1400m) 3~ 4 hours.

    Am: After an early breakfast, drive out to the trek starting point at Vijaypur Khola, which is approximately 20 minutes and start trek to Thulokot.

    The first day is a pleasant uphill start. We pass through colorful Chettri and Brahmin villages. En route stop at a scenic spot for lunch. After lunch, continue trekking for about 1 more hour to our skyline campsite at Thulokot (4,500 ft.) where our Sherpa team will have our complete camp arranged. After a refreshening beverage, one can unwind or relax to view a magnificent sunset, while the Sherpa team will prepare a hot and sumptuous dinner around the campfire. The mountain views from Thulokot stretches from Dhaulagiri in the west to Manaslu Range in the east.

  • placeDay 05 : Trek to Shyaglung (1570m) – 6 hours.

    Early wake up to view a magnificent and breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas while tea or coffee is served. After breakfast, we shall start out with a pleasant morning walk by following the ridgeline eastwards as we pass through colorful villages, terraced rice fields and farming countryside. The trail is both uphill and downhill and after approximately 3 hours of trekking, we shall stop at a scenic wayside ridge for an appetizing lunch.

    We shall continue downhill for a while after passing through a small village, there is a rather surprising climb uphill which eventually leads us through the backyards of a small Gurung village to a scenic hilltop campsite at Shyaglung .The view from our campsite at Shyaglung is just enchanting, especially during sunrise and sunset, when the visually impressive effects of the sunlight against the Majestic Annapurna Range, leaves you deeply astounded with its grandeur.

    After a refreshing wash-up, our Sherpas will prepare and serve yet another hot and savory dinner around the campfire.

  • placeDay 06 : Trek to Chisapani. (1520m) –5 hours.

    This is a short day trek following the excursions of day two. It allows time to explore the main Gurung villages of Syaglung and Chisapani.
    Start with a visit to Syaglung immediately below the climbing and winding round the back of the hill towards Chisapani. This part of the route offers mountain and foothill views of Nepal far to the East. Chisapani is reached in time for lunch after a leisurely three hours or so. The afternoon is free to rest and wander round this very attractive farming village.

  • placeDay 07 : Trek to Begnas and Drive to Pokhara. - 4 hours.

    Early wake up to view one of the most magnificent sunrises, on this trekking course, while we have our morning tea or coffee and after breakfast, we shall start our third day of trekking.

    We shall descend through the Gurung village before a knee wobbling descent leads us through the forests to the valley floor. Crossing streams that feed the Lake Rupa at the southern end of the valley, the route cuts through paddy fields and then climbs onto the ridge that separates the Lake Rupa and Lake Begnas.

    We shall stop for our last trek lunch at a scenic spot from where we can view the Begnas Lake in the foreground and Mount Macchapucchare in the background. The path widens as we pass through a busy village market area to the road-head settlement at Begnas, where we end our trek and bid farewell to our Sherpa team. The waiting vehicle will pick us up for the 40 minutes drive back to Pokhara.

  • placeDay 08 : Fly back to Kathmandu and Connect return flight to home country.

    Am: After breakfast, proceed to Pokhara’s Domestic Airport, to board the 30 minutes scenic flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, meet our rep, assist and transfer to nearby Tribhuvan International Airport for final departure.
